Triple Twig Coat Rack/Stand
A 2020 variation on designs created for Nectar Grill at Bellagio Resort Hotel in Las Vegas in 1997, a restaurant inspired by the American Southwest.
The 2020 riffs borrow from the original concept’s inspiration: the inventive employment of organic forms, such as tree branches, by pre-columbian indigenous peoples in their architecture and sacred artifacts.
PROCESS + MATERIALS
Solid turned American Mahogany. Hand carved maple was cast in 90% recycled aluminum-magnesium alloy, then hand polished and hand rubbed with elixirs for a patina. Made in Chicago.
