PROCESS + MATERIALS
The antlers forms were hand carved in maple and cast in recycled magnesium aluminum alloy and then hand polished. The base is composed of reclaimed red West African Ironwood brought to Chicago 60 years ago. The wood was hand-carved, sanded and oiled.
A tabletop wine presentation designed as a present for wine-enthusiast friends of the artist. The Antler carvings were originally created for a hotel project for Bill Kimpton.
The Antlers have been employed to display wine in a number of projects completed by Jordan Mozer and Associates, Ltd.
