Mozer: Truly Lazy Vase: Jordan Mozer (B.1958)
PROCESS + MATERIALS
Base: Hand carved maple sculptures were cast in 92% recycled magnesium-aluminum alloy and then hand polished. Vase: hand blown glass: each is unique, and vary slightly in size and form.
Available in two sizes. Each size is available either polished or dark patina base. A variety of glass colors are available. Glass blower's punty marks have been hand polished.
This vase was was originally designed as a holiday gift for the artist's patrons, one of whom, requested a set of 50 for a Fine dining restaurant called Tru in Chicago. The vase transformed from "The Lazy Vase" to "The Truly Lazy Vase".

Mozer studios LLC handcrafts all of their small batch products. They are never mass produced. We invite our patrons to embrace the nuanced irregularities of form, surface and finish as evidence of that handwork, defining each piece as one of a kind.
