We’re together in this mess
without
the comfort of togetherness
A problem
Stranded me high on a precarious bridge
above sharp shards
In a nightmare a few years ago
We are all crossing that bridge now
choking in a pandemic storm
Hoping you’re safe
and looking forward to seeing you
on the other side…
Jordan Mozer
Bridges help us get across safely. Lately, many people need help crossing.
Charlie Trotter and I became friends when we were 25. I remember philanthropic planning over lemon ice late into summer nights on his Armitage Street stairs.
The Trotter Project continues Charlie’s dedication to the community.
Since the pandemic began, The Trotter Project has donated and distributed more than 60,000 meals and over 2 million pounds of food and other household items to families and individuals to those in need. Please support The Trotter Project’s Farm to School Program.
20% of proceeds from sculptures and prints of “Portrait of a Problem: (Bridge)” will be donated to The Trotter Project’s Farm to School Program.
You can also drive by our studio, at 320 North Laflin Street between Fulton Market and Carroll, to view the exhibit in our Carroll Street display windows , or schedule a socially distanced visit.
